Festival of Lights: A Night at the Observatory

Dear ASWUU Family and Friends,
In this original interfaith presentation, our resident physicist/astronomer will introduce us to a series of constellations and planets, each of which represents one of the many religions of the world. Speaking for those constellations and planets, members will share how the religion or culture they represent uses light to celebrate the shortest days of the year. As a part of this service, we will welcome new members who have joined us over the past six months as they "sign the book" to formalize their membership in ASWUU.
Various members have participated in designing this service and will help lead it.
There will be Coffee Hour after the service. If you would like to do so, please bring a snack to share. The service will be available on Facebook Live for those who prefer not to gather in person. Go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
Spread the word & bring a friend! Do you have a friend, family member, or colleagues who might appreciate this Sunday’s topic?
